Should I take fluoride supplements in addition to the fluoride in my toothpaste?
Special cases aside, the fluoride in cooking salt and fluoride toothpaste are usually sufficient for adults. We advise that adults use a toothpaste like ELGYDIUM TOOTH DECAY PROTECTION on a daily basis. There is also the ELGYDIUM KIDS TOOTH DECAY PROTECTION toothpaste for children between the ages of two and six and the JUNIOR version for children between the ages of seven and 12. In some cases, depending on an individual's needs, your dentist may advise you on how to increase your exposure to fluoride through supplements, gel and mouthwash.
