Teething does not generally require a visit to the doctor's office. However, if teething is accompanied by a high temperature that persists without apparent reason, or if your baby has persistent diarrhoea, it is best to see a doctor as soon as possible.
The doctor will examine your child to determine whether these issues are related to another condition or teething. If necessary, they will prescribe suitable pain relief.
